These lenses feature an extended depth of focus design, allowing wearers to see clearly at various distances, including near, intermediate, and far. These lenses address the visual needs of presbyopic individuals by providing clear vision across a range of distances without the need for bifocals or reading glasses. SEED 1dayPure EDOF lenses are designed for daily wear and disposal, eliminating the need for cleaning and maintenance.

• The Brien Holden Vision Institute and SEED have developed and commercialized an algorithm that unlocks the full potential of optical characteristics (lens performance) and visual properties (visual acuity for users). Applying this special algorithm to lens design, SEED has developed a unique EDOF lens that minimizes variability in visual performance at varying visual distances, the major limitation of conventional bifocal contact lenses. The EDOF lens also provides good perceived image quality under various conditions.
• The contact lens storage solution is infused with alginic acid, a natural moisturizing agent extracted from Seawood. It attracts moisture in the eyes and keeps tears on the surface of the lenses.
• Zwitterionic material “SIB”: SEED’s original material “SIB” contains both positive and negative ions, resulting in electrical stability. This stability ensures high water content while keeping out dust and impurities.
• For ease of usage, SEED has introduced the following designs for the convenience of its patients. The Cross Unit Cases allow capsules for the left and right lenses to be joined together for easier packaging.

• Ultraviolet Protection: Ultraviolet rays (UV) cause skin pigmentation, such as spots, and are said to be one of the causes of eye diseases such as cataracts. SEED 1dayPure Multistage contains UV absorbents that can shield your eyes from UV rays.
